John Paul the Great Academy is a lay-owned and lay-operated Catholic school that features a classical curriculum. It is incorporated under the laws of the State of Louisiana and is a registered 501 (c) (3) non-profit organization. The Academy offers grades PK3-12.
John Paul the Great Academy is a full member of the National Association of Private Catholic Independent Schools (NAPCIS).
The Academy is also a non-public approved school with the Louisiana Board of Elementary and Secondary Education, meaning that all diplomas are recognized by the State, and automatically transferrable to other schools.
John Paul the Great Academy admits students of any race, color, and national or ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, and national or ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies and athletic of other school administered programs.
